Introduction to Initial D: No spoilers.

Initial D is an anime about racing and then some. There's always more then what the eyes meet. Initial D is an anime like that, one would think that it was targeted to a certain group of people and it's true, only half true. Initial D is for the natural car lover, it can appeal to others as well. Anyone can be like this is a dumb anime because it has nothing but racing, it takes a certain level of appreciation to truely enjoy Initial D.

Initial D is based around a young 18 year old teenager named Fujiwara Takumi. He is one of the better drivers of the series, he developed into a better person because of his experiences with racing. Racing and being the best is what Initial D is about. It is a very realistic story.

What does Initial D mean to me?

Initial D is just more then about racing and cars, its more. I love Initial D because of the characters and the storyline and is rather unique in its own way.
I hope to get the time to write a through essay about Initial D as soon as I see the rest of the series.
